Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of CoupleCash, operated by CoupleCash Ltd ("CoupleCash", "we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using CoupleCash, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using CoupleCash, you confirm that you are at least 16 years old, have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms, and agree to be bound by them. If you use CoupleCash on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

2. Description of service

CoupleCash is a personal finance management application that helps individuals and couples track bills, manage debts, set savings goals, and monitor budgets. The service is available on iOS, Android, and the web. Features vary between the Free and Premium tiers as described on our Pricing page.

3. Account registration and responsibilities

When you create an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and current information
• Keep your password secure and confidential
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account
• Take responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

You may not share your account credentials or allow others to access your account.

4. Free and Premium tiers

Prices are subject to change with reasonable notice. Changes will not affect active subscriptions until renewal.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use CoupleCash for any fraudulent, unlawful, or harmful purpose
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the service
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to access the source code
• Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or damage our servers or networks
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent subscription limits or trial periods

6. Intellectual property

CoupleCash and all associated intellectual property (including the app, design, code, branding, and content) are owned by CoupleCash Ltd. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service for personal, non-commercial purposes. You retain ownership of any data you enter into CoupleCash.

7. Limitation of liability

CoupleCash is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for any particular purpose.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CoupleCash Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including financial loss resulting from decisions made using data in the app. CoupleCash is a tracking and planning tool, not regulated financial advice.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement at any time:

• You may delete your account at any time through the app settings.
• We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, without prior notice in serious cases.

On termination, your right to use CoupleCash ceases immediately. Your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of CoupleCash after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
