What is CoupleCash?
CoupleCash is a finance app designed specifically for couples. It helps you track shared bills, split costs fairly, manage debts together, and save towards shared goals—all without the spreadsheets or awkward conversations.
How is it different from other finance apps?
Most finance apps are built for individuals. CoupleCash is built for two people sharing a financial life. It understands that couples have different incomes, different ideas about fairness, and need both transparency and privacy.
Do both partners need to sign up?
Yes, both partners create accounts and link them together. This way you both have access to your shared dashboard and can see the same information.
Pricing
Is CoupleCash free?
There's a free tier that covers the basics: up to 5 shared bills, basic splitting, and one savings goal. Premium unlocks unlimited everything plus advanced features like income-based splitting.
Why is pricing per couple, not per user?
Because you're managing money together. It wouldn't be fair to charge both of you for accessing the same shared account. One subscription covers both partners.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, cancel whenever you want. No contracts, no cancellation fees. Your data stays safe and you drop to the free tier.
Features
How does bill splitting work?
You can split each bill however you want: 50/50, by income ratio, or any custom percentage. Set a default and override it on individual bills. Change it anytime.
Can I keep some things private?
Yes. You control what goes into the shared view. Personal expenses can stay personal—there's no need to share everything.
Does CoupleCash connect to my bank?
We're building optional bank connections that are read-only—we can never move your money. You can also manually add all your bills if you prefer.
Security
Is my financial data safe?
Yes. We use bank-level encryption (TLS 1.3 in transit, AES-256 at rest). We never sell your data and we only collect what we need to make the app work.
Can CoupleCash access my bank accounts?
Our bank integrations are read-only—we can only see transaction data, never move money. And these integrations are optional; you can use CoupleCash without connecting any accounts.
What happens to my data if I delete my account?
We delete everything. Your data is yours, and when you leave, it goes with you.
