1. What information we collect

  • Account information: Your email address when you register.
  • Financial data: Transaction data, bills, debts, and savings goals that you enter or sync through the app.
  • Usage analytics: Anonymised data about how you use the app (e.g. feature usage, session duration). This data cannot identify you personally.
  • Payment information: When you subscribe to Premium, payment details are handled directly by Stripe. We do not store your card details.

2. How we use your information

We use your data to:

  • Create and manage your account
  • Deliver the CoupleCash service, including syncing your data across devices
  • Process your Premium subscription payments
  • Improve the app using anonymised usage analytics
  • Send you important service notifications (e.g. account security, subscription updates)

We will never sell your personal data to third parties or use it for advertising purposes.

4. Third-party services

We use the following third-party services to operate CoupleCash:

We use Firebase for authentication and secure cloud storage of your app data. Google processes data in accordance with their privacy policy.

Premium subscription payments are processed by Stripe. CoupleCash never stores your payment card details. Stripe processes payment data under their own privacy policy.

5. Data retention

We keep your personal data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will delete your personal data within 30 days. Anonymised analytics data may be retained for longer to help us improve the service.

CoupleCash is not intended for users under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with their data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you by email or through the app. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated. Continued use of CoupleCash after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
